In the event of incorrect completion of the Generic slot MS Module Code Upgrade

Remote Loading Phase, or a problem with the new code, the uploaded package can be

removed from the RAM by the following procedure:

This action deletes the associated file from the RAM.

In the event of incorrect completion of the Generic slot MS Module Code Upgrade

Transfer Phase, or a problem with the new code, the transferred file must be

overwritten with a valid Software or Gateware.

Restart the procedure.

In the event of incorrect completion of the Generic slot MS Module Code Upgrade

Activation Phase, or a problem with the new code, the new code must be taken out of

service.

To do this a reset is required to revert back to the former code:

In the case of a Software change, a Cold or Warm Reset will achieve this, selecting the

bank containing the previous version of Software.

In the case of a Gateware change, a Cold reset is required selecting the bank containing

the previous version of Gateware.

slot MS SNMP User Manual.
